Meet Dejeuné
Personal Style, Personal Power
I'm Dejeuné - and I've spent my entire career transforming women's lives. First, for a decade in social services, helping women rebuild from rock bottom. As a domestic violence survivor myself, starting over as a single mother with nothing but determination. Now, I do the same transformation work through style - because I know that how you dress when you're rebuilding isn't vanity, it's survival strategy.
The Vision Behind Your Style Is Forever
When you work with Dejeuné Harris, you experience a transformation that goes far beyond clothing. Her clients emerge not just styled but empowered—ready to command attention, claim their space, and communicate their authentic vision through personal style. Through her thoughtful approach, Black women professionals find themselves equipped with wardrobes that serve as both armor and expression, allowing them to navigate professional spaces with newfound confidence and authority.
Dejeuné's clients consistently praise her ability to translate their inner power into visual language—creating style formulas that honor their uniqueness while strategically positioning them in their industries. She understands that for communities historically told to shrink themselves, style becomes a revolutionary act of visibility and self-assertion.
My credentials aren't just fashion degrees from Johnson & Wales and UDC, or my years at Burberry and Nordstrom. They're a decade in social services, surviving domestic violence, building a business while raising my child, and working as an administrative assistant and travel advisor because I understand the hustle. I know what it's like to juggle multiple income streams while pursuing your calling because transformation isn't a luxury; it's necessary.
Dejeuné's influence and expertise have been widely recognized in prominent media outlets, including multiple features in Washingtonian Magazine, Homes and Garden, NBC, and MSN. Her insights on personal style transformation were highlighted in Washingtonian's exploration of post-pandemic wardrobe challenges.
I know the grading scale differs which is why I dress the black woman to show up and take up space.
She's the creator of The Style Language Workshop, which helps clients discover their unique style formula, and has published her methodology on Amazon. Dejeuné is also an impactful public speaker, sharing her insights at empowerment events such as Mother's with Motives and The BFF Experience. Her commitment to empowerment extends to her advocacy work as a Survivor Advisory Board Member of the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence and her contributions to organizations like My Sister's Place, where she channels her experience as a domestic violence survivor to help others reclaim their power.
Here's what traditional stylists won't tell you: Most women don't need a wardrobe update - they need identity reconstruction. After years of shrinking themselves, accommodating others, or surviving crises, they've forgotten who they actually are. That's where I come in. I don't just dress bodies - I help women reclaim their power, one outfit at a time.
